| Removal of Roadside Signs
|
As
of January 31, 2006 The Sussex county Board Of Chosen Freeholders
directed staff to institute a zero tolerance policy for temporary
advertising signs within County road rights of way. By doing
so, the board hopes to reduce the negative aesthetic impact
these signs have on our beautiful landscape and eliminate
safety hazards that some of these signs create. Road crews
will be asked to remove them as they work along side county
roads and the board has also enlisted the help of the Sheriff
for assistance in this effort through inmate and community
service programs |
